When words fail, music speaks. #Breakthesilence is the impressive pop-rock debut concept album by 7even Bridges with songs and stories about the devastating impact trauma has on a person. Each track is a chapter and the album the whole story, with the stories flowing seamlessly into each other.

The concept of this record is that everyone has their own story, which is not always talked about, but which should be heard. Everyone has their own story, and so are the tracks. Every song is an experience, of which a beautiful composition has been made, ranging from symphonic (classic) rock, to intense and compelling power ballads. The result is #breakthesilence, a concept album in which the storyline clearly remains intact and where the listener is sucked into a journey of emotions. Besides the beautiful music and the moving lyrics that penetrate right into the soul, the characteristic seven-part harmony vocals that the band shows, is what sets the band and the album apart. The harmonies are very tastefully composed, testify to years of experience and are the signature of the band.

7even Bridges scores highly with their musical theater tour Operatie Geslaagd, based on the book of the same name by band member Erik Krikke. This tour is now entering its third successful season. The songs on the album #breakthesilence tell this story in their own way, with beautiful music. 7even Bridges recorded the album at the end of 2017 in the Sound Vision Studio, Arnhem. With producer George Konings and musicians Bas Rysavy (acoustic guitar and vocals), Danny Rysavy (vocals), Erik Krikke (vocals), Fondy Hartman (guitar and vocals), Gijs Pelgrom (drums and vocals), Marcel Peters (bass guitar and vocals) and Marijn Meijer (piano, violin and vocals). Guest musicians are George Konings (guitar) and Diederik Smulders (cello).

All instruments on the album are played live, including the string arrangements. In addition, the band recorded a track with a live choir of over 100 people, all people who wanted to put their own story in that song and the result is an overwhelming live feeling on the record, which fits exactly with the theme of the track. The album was mastered at the famous Abbey Roads Studios in London, by engineers Miles Showell and Geoff Pesche, two legendary names.

7even Bridges has put down a high-quality album and a lot of attention has also been paid to the artwork of the album; for example, the common thread of the story literally emerges in the lyrics, and the album is provided with tasteful photos. Nothing is standard about this album, it is a total experience.
